Have they fixed threading yet?

Im planning on building a quad core system and i remember when Toms tested it on games the games crashed is this still true? With that huge price cut i gotta get my hands on that quad. unless i cant use it for gaming.

Tell me what makes you think its for games specificly? its for all around performance and future proof. i do alot of multi tasking and i so desire a quad unless games wont run on it.

maybe you should go with the 4x4 Quad FX 74 platform its from two dual cores. havent heard any problems with them

I've never heard of Quad core crashing problems. Maybe you could link to where this was said?

I haven't seen too many reports of this type of problem. That review was done back in September, so there is a good chance COD2 has been fixed by now.

In general quad-core machines run great. You can buy with confidence.
