My OS is Windows Vista ultimate 64 bit. Whenever copy anything from one disk to another (internal HD or usb mem) for backup purposes I get the error that I don’t have enough space on the target disk and it refuses to do copying.

However since I am doing backup copying, most of the data will just be overwritten, and in the end, I know the copied data will fit on the target disk. My solution is to erase the target data first, then copy or copy directory by directory.

Is there a way to disable this error?
