Whenever I boot up from the DVD I get the windows is loading files then after that it switches screens to the Microsoft Corporation screen and after about 10 seconds my computer reboots. My computer specifications are:

Intel Core2duo 6600
2GB RAM
P5W DH Deluxe
GeForce 7950 GX2

Is that an OEM or Retail. I just installed Visat 64 bit last night. Did you get to the serial number screen?

Hard to say but trying another DVD drive is often the fix for these installation hang ups.

First thing I would do is check for a cooling issue, what is your CPU temp?

Second, are you using a USB thumbdrive for raid drivers? (check your boot sequence in the bios and make sure no USB drives are listed, I would only have CD then HDD listed)

What ram are you using?

Do as the above guys said but we do need more information.
You should try placing the Installation Disk into a DVD Drive.
If that doesn't fix it then you need check for cooling issues.
Make sure you only have your Drive and HDD listed.
If you still can't then there could be a problem with your memory if you any extra try switching it out (make sure it's the same type).
Another unknown problem that creeps up is underperforming Power Supplies. Find out the Wattage and check to make sure all connections are firmly placed.
If you still have problems repartition and try again.

Try disabling firewire in the bios and make sure there are no USB devices listed in the boot sequence.

It is the OEM version and I have Windows XP 64 Bit on here right now. I have tried removing one of the memory sticks but it still stops at the same screen. My DVD drive and HDD are the only thing listed for boot but I have two hard drives. Also my power supply is 600w. CPU temp is 38C at idle.
