What does Ubuntu one do?!

I've been using Ubuntu for a couple of months now and i find it quite easy to use, but no one has told me waht Ubuntu one is there for or even does! I haven't got a clue. Someone telling me what it is would be awesome!

Basically, it let's you store your data on the Web (2GB anyway) so that you can access it from any computer, or even some mobile phones. Further details here.
