I'm getting a new computer for gaming and music production,
Am I getting Vista 32bit or 64bit ?
From what I have learned til now, the music prod. programs I'm using upport the Vista 32bit only right now.
But here are my specs anyway:

1x Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz 1333FSB 6MB Box 45nm

1x XFX nForce 780i
1x XFX GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB DDR3
1x Corsair HX Series 1000W PSU
1x Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5 7200Rpm SATA II 16MB

Bad part for you is 32 bit does not support as much memory as 64 bit. 32 bit can't see more than like 3.5 gb of memory, whereas 64 does. However, I'm running 2 gb and it's fine. But would be nice to have the option later.
