got a free trial of xp 64 from microsoft did a clean install os at the time only had xp upgrade home edition
ever heard of spaces comers new paragraphs and proper descriptions or do you like writing things like your talking a million miles an hour
ok are you saying that you have the xp home upgrade and you want to "upgrade" your pro trial to home? the answer is no, generally you can only upgrade to a better product etc:
home -> pro, but not pro -> home etc
to even use that windows xp home upgrade package you need to have an existing operating system such as windows 98, 2000, me, etc to use it and install it
seen this too many times - so many cheap skates in my area, always comes back to bite them

Honest - I am not the type to bring this up unless that person was complaining about the mauling of the English language themselves.
But as to the question in hand, I think 71monte402 is a freeloader, aka a leech, parasite or what is known in the industry as a pirate. The title says it all install XP for free. As you and I know Windows XP costs money and if you want to use the software after a trial period you have to pay for it.

That was my point!
Buddy heres a way to use your computer for free - listen to boonality and get ubuntu!
Short answer is simply you can't "upgrade" a 64-bit installation with a 32-bit one. Even if you had the XP Pro 32-bit upgrade, you wouldn't be able to do what you want to do. You have to do a clean install and you will need one of the qualifying products listed on the packaging.
Vista is the only MS OS that can be used to "upgrade" itself. XP will not upgrade itself unless it's XP Home to XP Pro... 32-bit.

Take a look at your own grammar, before you critisize someone elses.
