Vista ultimate freezes when the network adapter (DWL-AG530) is enabled or working properly. It freezes when the windows loading screen appears. If I disable the adapter(wireless card) then it does not freeze. Driver for the adapter is up to date.

Any ideas?

How bout the rest of your system specs.

Did you install any software with the wireless adapter (other than the driver)? My netgear adapter gave me problems with XP. It came with a network management utility which loaded on boot. In safe mode, I uninstalled the utility and problem solved.

No I didn't install anything with it.

I tried several different drivers and they give same result. They work as a driver if I enable device once I load and log into vista, but if device is enabled when windows loads It freezes it. I have no idea what to do to fix this.

system specs:

mobo: GA-P35-DSL
cpu: intel E8400
ram: patriot 2x2gb 800 ddr2
