More Information

Hi,

Since yesterday, I start having this problem in my internet explorer 7.0. Everytime I try to access a secure site (HTTPS), I have this message in the internet explorer telling me that Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage:

Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. What you can try:

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
Internet connectivity has been lost. The website is temporarily unavailable. The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.
For offline users You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.
To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages) Click Tools , and then click Work Offline. Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

I tried to go through lots of solutions and played around many things, but they did me nothing. Here are some of the things that I tried to do in order to end this problem:

1. I installed firfox browser and try it, but didn't help me.
2. I installed IE 8.0 Beta, but didn't help me either.
3. I restore the windows to the last prevoius good point my PC was in.
4. I unistalled my firewall software C.O.M.O.D.O., but didn't help.
5. I follw certin steps to play with the IE settings from the Advanced tab; such as uncheking SSL 2.0, TLC and other stuff. Also privacy and security settings as well.
6. I unistalled some of the windows updates.
7. I went to some of the solutions through the RUN commands such as the registry to re-register commands and libraries.
8. I cleared the SSL certificates from the IE.
9. And finally I perform a complete clean to the registry and the computer files from CCLEANER software.

The last thing I can think of is, the problem start accuring when I updated my windows. I don't think that my firewall software or my router has to do with anything of this problem because other computers work flawlessly in my network and the same firewall software. There is a chance that my firewall has a problem, but I dout it.
I really appreciate any help and thank you so much in advnce for it.
By the way, here you go my PC specs:

Windows Vista Business 32-bit SP1.
IE 8.0 Beta.
Core 2 Duo 2.13 4mb cache.
4GB DDR2 667 of ram.
320GB RAID 0 hard drive.
