Many people seem to have problems runnin VIsta 64.
im building a system soon in about a month or so and i am 90% sure im going wit the vista 64.
now the only problem/concert i am having right now is about people saying that they are having problems installing it. Problems can be fixed , but are there any cases that someone bough a 64 and couldnt seem to install it?

There is an occasional bug when you try to install Vista (32 or 64) with over 3 gig of RAM installed. This may have been fixed with service pack 1 but I am not sure. The fix is to install with 2 gig, run a fix from MS, and then add back your extra ram. This only occurs on certain systems so only worry about it if it happens to you..

For the most part installing and running Vista 64 is a piece of cake. If anything it seems to be the most stable MS consumer OS out there. Not sure what you have been hearing but I have not heard anything about particular install issues with 64 in particular.

I installed Vista, installed my 2nd 2gig ram stick, then later switched to Vista 64 without uninstalling the RAM. No problems at all.

Me too. It's only on some motherboards.

Don't use a 32 bit OS.
