More Information

I have an interesting problem.

I had thought my computer was having data corruption problems, so I decided to reformat my drive.

Only, when I went ahead and loaded the XP Pro CD, it loaded all of it's files, and when it went to strart windows, the monitor flickered and the fans powered down slightly before going onto the screen with the setup and recovery console options. Upon selecting either of the options, all I get past there is 'Please wait...' and it never progresses past that point. I'm assuming it has something to do with the power down beforehand.

Any help is appreciated.
