Linux at&t dsl modem 192 168 1 1 and router 192 168 1 1

Hello,
i am trying to access my linksys router with 192.168.1.1 to no avail but when i do a traceroute of 192.168.1.1 it gives me my at&t dsl modem address.

How can I fix this so I can access my router's web page?

dis connect the modem from the router and try to log in
