Any extra guidance for best Card !

hey i running a geforce 5500 and its about time to update lol

im wanting to spend about 200 to 260 on card iv always been a Nvidia man but iv been told that Ati would be best for the money ether way dosent matter if ya need my specs its

2 gig of Ram
Amd 3800+ Cpu
500 Watt Power

also been told Monitor Matters lol

thats my Mon id also like to be able to come out svideo to my tv/Hdtv but jsut s video is good enof

im wanting the best card in that price range iv been getting a bit confused in the pixels and stuff and the whole 256 or 512 lol

so i thought id ask some help lol

just wanting the best For that Price im willing to go a bit more if its major difference in Performance for extra 20-30 Bucks

thats just what the prove of the Nvidia Cards iv been eyeballin lol

wow thanks a lot i will def look at the 2 really hard b4 i buy one so wow overpriced that blowed my mind so whats some of the best things to look at when getting ready to buy one what will let me know about the best performance because a lot of stuff had changed since i dealed with em a lot lol like anymore tips on what to look for with cards ?

the reviews are good on both but the ati seems to have the Overheating problem anyone know if that a major deal or what is goin on with that i don;t need the card crashing my pc lol

and the nvidia card seems good but the core clock and ect is lower than the ATI that Big deifference or is that taken care of since its 512 instead of 256 lol

well i think thats it lol

if anyone can tip me some more b4 i buy one it would be very helpful lol
