Trying to boot Windows 2000 and install it on this computer.

Pentium 2 Pro 128mb ram.

This computer should have no problem running Windows 2000. Currently it has Windows 95.

I set boot to CD but it just goes straight to Windows 95 boot.

I tried booting to CD and disabling the hard drive and it says insert any cd and press key to boot.

I burned Windows 2000 ISO to a CD RW.

I was going to try USB but there is no option in the bios.

ok forget this. clearly the computer couldn't handle Windows 2000.

The power supply started smoking last night and the monitor killed itself.
