This computer was new a month ago. It played 1080 P or 1080 i video such as you tube or dailymotion. Now it will only play video at 720 p. Is it a driver update? my system says all drivers are updated.

windows 7 AMD Phenom Qaud II 960 T. ATI HD 4200
Thanks

I think it can be a driver issue. Check what version you got for your ATi HD 4200. Here's some instructions to check the version, report back in this thread afterwards. After that it could be a good idea to head over to the AMD website and look for a driver there, to make sure you get the correct one. Also, the latest driver is not always the best one... but it's a good rule to check the latest.

Thanks. The ATI 4200 hd driver says it is version 8.733.0.0. I am looking now at AMD site.

I can now play YouTube at 1080P but not Dailymotion (which I could before).
I checked the settings of Adobe flash player to make sure I was allowing Dailymotion to store data on my machine.

I suspect the remaining problem may be with the Dailymotion site.
Thank you for your help with the drivers.
