Remove search column

Does anyone know how to remove the search column, or whatever you call it, in Vista? I have been scratching my head to figure this out. I do know it's possible, as only some of my folders display it while others do not.

Do you mean the search box in the top-right corner? It's integrated.

Thanks for your replies, however I am talking about the sort column, not the search bar... Hopefully this picture explains it a little better...

Actually while we are at it, is their anyway to disable the blue bar directly above the 'sort column' as well?

You can right-click the header row to customize it, but the name column can't be removed. The row differs depending on the listed contents. Personally, I hate it changing back & forth.

No, that organize bar can't be removed. I want to too. It's pretty useless to an experienced user. I use this to get the old copy/paste toolbar back:
