PS3 Blue_Ray crashed how do i get linex on it?

Hello,
i'm trying to get some use out of my $300 dollar one month out of warranty 80 gig PS3. i have a sandisk 4 gig flash drive. a laptop and 250 gig slim PS3 can anyone help?

In order to install Linux, you have to downgrade the firmware to a previous version, as this feature is no longer available. There's plenty of information pertaining to this if you simply do a Google search.

People do it all the time, including the USAF. It's also illegal to jailbreak iPhones, but people do it more often than not.

When they remove functionality via SW update I seriously doubt any court would rule against you having a play.
