Vista just auto installed security updates and now it wont let me access my external drive... its a Lacie 500gig drive hooked up through SATA...

I tried to use admin privlages .....I dont understand....I am the admin...I logged in with my user name of BES its supposed to be an Admin account with full access ...

Everything on the drive is set to read only and requires admin access(before the update the drive was not set to read only).....BUT IM THE DAMN ADMIN! ...very anoyed....I use the damn thing every day...

So HOW do I get it to let me have full access?....when I tried to give BES full access most of the folders on the drive still wont give me full access...

For some reason I was expecting a quicker response since this site is so busy..but whatever I fixed it..

Had to turn the drive off...dis-connect the SATA cord...turn the drive back on and re-plug-in the SATA cord and now I have full access...wierd..
