Hello guys!!
So here's the problem...I recently reinstalled my VISTA and went for the 64Bit version. After installing all the drivers and aplication the computer started repitedly and continuously restarting.

My configuration is X23800, 2x1gb MUSKIN HP2- 8500 1066 MHz, 3870 OC edition, MSI K9A2 CF-F (790x chipset). First i uninstalled catallinst 8.5 and went for the 8.3 and that solved the problem for 2 days. Now it started doing it again. I removed 1 dim of ram and the computer runs fine...it's just that i get a feeling that it isn't hardware but softwere.

I constantly run MICROTORENT and I noticed it allways restarts 2 mins after i start browsing the internet using FireFox. Preaty strange isn't it?

Hope u cand give me clues about whas up with my build.
Thx allot!!

goto start\computer\right click properties\system information\advanced\startup and recovery and turn off automatically restart.
Sorry if that isnt exactly correct as Im in XP at the moment so I cant duplicate it but youll find it.
What it does is turn off the auto reboot feature so that you can read the error message if there is one.

Welcome to my recent past, I had the same problem, check your manufacturer's site for the ram and check under what voltage it's suppose to be set at, mine was suppose to be at 2.1 volts (ocz ati crossfire certified) and the mobo was only dishing 1.8 volts.

I am running on 4 sticks, bringing the ram up to 2.125 volts pretty much illiminated all my restarts, I also have the timings set back from 4-4-4-15 to 5-5-5-18 just in case.

Try that and tell me if it gives any type of improvement.
