Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct place or forum but i am literly at my minds end.
2 Days ago I built a new system, the specs are:
Phenom 9850 Black
M3-a32-mvp deluxe wifi-ap
8gig Crucial dominatrix
and a Saphire HD 3870 Toxic
The older specs being a 250,300 and 400 sata II drives, and a IDE 150.
Then a X-fi fatality.
Now I installed Vista 64bit Home premium, done a bios update, driver updates and lot. Now this is where I am completely lost after spending 2 days total figuring it out.
Each time i restart I loose files. Not any random files but always the same exact files.
This being my firefox.exe, dx9/dx10.dlls, physx dll and the ati control panel.
A simple reinstall fixes this yet again next restart they vanish. I have done driver cleans, reg cleans, virus scans the lot.
Theres nothing out of place, nothing that i dont completely need installed. I tried googling but very little to no information seems to be about on this issue.
Tempted to try another Vista 64bit install after formating again just to see if it repeats.
Any info would be great thanks
