I want to get rid of the backgrounds on my desktop shortcuts so its only the writing showing...I had it like this before but one day i rebooted and it each of the shortcuts had backgrounds and i hate the way it looks so i dont want them...

Right click on a free area on your desktop and go to properties and then desktop and select none then apply
