I just installed Vista Ultimate, and went to Windows update and downloaded all of the available important and recommended updates, but I still don't see SP1 shown on the screen when I right-click Computer and go to properties (under the General tab).

How can I be sure I have SP1?

By the way, I'm running an OEM version of Vista Ultimate.

If it does not say SP1 under the properties, then you don't have it.

A shortcut to get to the system properties is to hold windows key and press pause/break.

I have Home Premium and I never had SP1 show up via updates. I just went and downloaded it from MS. Everything worked out fine for me.
