I was using an old version of Windows before I bought my own computer. Since I'm not a computer whiz, I have found it difficult to discover how to use many of the features I have been used to using. I need help. When I'm on line (especially when I'm using hotmail), I can't cut and paste text because there is no edit icon available. Or at least I can't find it.

It seems that there should have been a disc or a booklet to show people who purchase Microsoft 2010 how to use it.

My phone number is 301 567-9528.

Yes, the new ribbon interface is not as easy to use as the old menus. Copy and paste are on the Home tab on the ribbon.

Learn to use the keyboard:

Cut = 'ctrl-X'
Copy = 'ctrl-C'
Paste = 'ctrl-V'
Undo = 'ctrl-Z'

These work virtually everywhere in Windows and have been around for years.
