Hi I'm new here and have no idea what I'm doing with computers.
But I need help because my laptop isn't working. The problem is that when I get to the login screen there is no user account to click on and instead shows me just a blank spot where the button should be. I have tried using control-alt-del and it pops up as a different login screen, but when I try to login it says "cannot log in interactively".

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks so much

Yeah I have already tried booting my computer in various different ways...including Safe Mode, but still nothing shows up at the login screen. I cannot get past this screen and into my computer so I am at a loss for what I should do.

when u try to ctrl+alt +del at login prompt have u type at box login as administrator and no password?, if theres no problem u can access from that login so u can fix the user login from administrator mode, other solution try to repair your os by install mode, i think it will solved problem, thx

good luck
