New to Domain, Active Directory, DNS

I've been searching for days and so I have to post. This is the first time I've ever tried to do this so please help a NOOB.

We have a 2003 server and we need to put in a domain and connect that domain to the 5 vista machines in our office.

I've tried to assign a static IP and I've tried to select the option to obtain an ip and dns automaticly.

After reading 2039423 posts I've gathered the information and how to post this information here. Again, this is the first time I've touched a 2003 server and I know enough to navigate and do things but just don't have any real knowledge in regards to this.

Please help.

This I don't understand because in the services it clearly states that this service is running. I've stoped them and restarted them; but this still shows up after a reboot.
