Trying to install eebuntu2.0nbr on a n eeepc w/xp

Hello,
I have created a usb using unetbootin, it goes into perpectual reboot countdown. I hit tab and get /ubnkern initrd=/ubninit. where do I go from here? I have formated the drive with fat32 prior. want to get xp off this netbook
