I have a Asus P5B Deluxe and I have two 7900GS KO cards. I want to run them in SLI. Can I do this with this board, if so, were do I get the drivers?

Any help would be great

it is not an sli board

Yep - I have one of these mobos and it is definitely not an SLI design.

Yeah, I've only heard vauge references to SLI on the P965 chipset.

This is the most concrete source I could find. While X-Bit is a very creditable site, I'm not so sure about THEIR source. Plus, different cards, different number of cards, different board, so-so credibility, and if it does in-fact work you would be running hacked and most likely outdated drivers.

From Anandtech's review of the Asus P5B -

Quote :

As of this week, the ability to use your ATI CrossFire setup on the P965 platform is officially supported by Intel and ATI.

We digress for moment but it would also be nice to have SLI support. At this time NVIDIA SLI is not officially sanctioned on the Intel platform, although the more industrious users can run SLI with unofficial and unsupported drivers.

Did they say were one could get the unofficial and unsupported drivers?

you can get hacked drivers and get it to work. i think you need to find a sli bridge somewhere though.

I found the hacked drivers but they do not work. Once installed it does tell you that sli is enabled however when I benched there was no difference.

Thank for all your help,
