A few days ago I found a case with some old cd's I wanted to rip. No problem until after the day I ripped them this program showed up and has been killing my performance ever since. It keeps my cpu 35-50% most all the time by itself. I have done some research, and the only solution I can find is to disable WMI in the services console. I did that and Windows Security center wouldn't run. No big deal. However my dualcore program that came with my motherboard (MSI K9A2 Platinum) won't run, and I use that to keep an eye on my CPU temp. This is driving me crazy. All because I ripped three or four cd's? That's plain stupid. Anyone have any advise?
