Ok so I recently got a new Vista Home Premium Laptop and when I was setting it up or first configuring options I swear I remember checking a box that said something like protect my computer from low or harmful sounds. I thought it would be good to help protect my speakers, but I think it might be hurting my audio quality now. Does anyone know if this option exists and where I can find it or did I just dream this or set it on another computer? If it helps I'm on a Dell XPS1530 and I do use the Creative X-Fi Notebook soundcard sometimes, but I think I saw this option before I installed the soundcard.
