i plan on running a

E6420 (OC to 2.8 GHz)
X1950 XT 256mb
2 GB 800mhz ram
320gb HD
a soundcard( havnt pick it yet)

Im only trying to spend about $60, is there any solid PSUs that will run my system stable at this price?

are you sure a 430 watt psu could handle a e6420 @ oc 2.8 with a X1950 XT running under a load? is there any 550 watt psu in your mind for the same price that have highly effient?

STAY AWAY FROM SMARTPOWER!

That's Antec's lowest quality line. The 430w unit I linked actually has more power then that 500w unit. The total watts don't matter, it's the total amps on the +12v rail. Read the PSU 101 & 102 sticky at the top of this section, it'll explain everything.

That'll do donkey. That'll do. Check out the Ultra 550W X2 over at tiger.com They run my e6400@3.0Ghz, 8800GTS640, a hard drive, 2 CD/DVD roms, 2 cathodes plus 6 fans, and my WC pump. The Antec 500w will work just as well too though.
