ok i'm about lost on this, i have a pc that just refusses to boot up any way possible i can think of.
its a kinda a home built pc. bought it rebuilt really. it worked great for 2 years. now all of a sudden it will not boot up, the windows xp cd i have will not help, perhaps its not a bootable kind idk.

all it does is loops back to do you want to run in safe mode or with networking or last know config or start windows normally. but i have tryed every thing and it just loops back to that. i tryed the xp install cd, nor works there. any ideas. ty

No way. A legit windows setup cd will boot up. Maybe your bios is set up wrong. i.e. boot order. CD/FLOPPY should be 1st to boot.

yep way. and the cd is in first for it to try on booting up from stuff.
