Hi guys,
Could you please help with the following:
1. iPaq 6325;
2. I am configuring new account in the Inbox as pure POP3 account (the
settings similar to regular outlook express);
3. Everything is fine - I can get the messages (the new messages) from the
POP3 server. They appear in the Inbox of the newly created POP3 account on
iPaq.
4. Here is the problem - when the next time the POP3 account checked for the
newly arrived messages on the server - the previously downloaded messages on
the iPaq are deleted (though the new again are downloaded, but they will
also be erased (?) during the next download from the server. So I can not
keep on iPaq any POP3 messages gotten from the server for any extended
time - just until the next session with the server.
Am I missing simething? Sorry if the question sounds stupid.
Sincerely,
Victor.

Hi
Here is how it works...
When you connect with your Pocket pc, it downloads all messages from the
server but do not delete them on the server, you can do this any number of
times, and any new messages not allready downloaded is downloaded. When you
connect with f.x. outlook express or another pop3 client it will normally
delete the messages on the server and this will result in the following. the
next time you connect with your PPC it will remove the messages from pocket
outlook as it is retrieved via a desktop client. The pop3 inbox should more
be taken for a image of what are on the server since last time the desktop
downloaded rather than a inbox storage.
hope that helped...
