So I just installed Vista ultimate 64bit and tried to run 3dmark06 and got an error saying "This application has failed to start because D3DX9_28.DLL was not found"

Obviously I have DX10 ... So i don't really know what to do to fix this, do i need dx9 to run this program, which seems to be the answer, I guess I thought it would still run with DX10.

Stupid question, any ideas?

This should fix your problem

I would try 3dmark Vantage v1.01, (assuming you have a dx10 card)
