Hi,

I have an Asus F8VR laptop running on Vista SP1 and I have the following problem: I recently got a Terratec Aureon 5.1 MKII Surround Sound Card in order to plug my Surround Sound System in.
During the installation of the respective software provided the device needs to be plugged in to a free USB port. And here comes the problem - the sound card won't be recognised and therefore it cannot be used at all. In the manual there is a special remark for Vista - it claims that, when plugging the card in for the first time, a generic USB audio driver should be installed automatically. Unfortunately, in my case no such thing happened and I can't find the driver online either...

I hope somebody could give me a hint (perhaps how to obtain such a driver).

Thanks in advance:))
