I had some hardware problems that caused my computer to go into these endless reboot cycles. It wouldn't make it to the Windows splash screen and would reboot, again, and again and . . . If I wasn't around to stop it, it would do it for hours. Anyway, something happend so that Windows would boot up.
The disk seems to be fine physically. I reinstalled windows on another disk and I am wondering if there is some way to acces my email on the corrupt hard disk, copy it and move it to the good disk.
I have both disks plugged in, Windows boots, and I can use Windows explorer to navigate the corrupt disk.
Where is my email for Microsft Outlook 2003?
Is what I'm trying to do possible without data recovery software?
Search the old hard drive for a file named Outlook.pst (make sure to search hidden Folders/Files). Copy it to My Documents. Start Outlook and Import the file.
