However, when I turned the computer on, it says, "DISC BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISC AND PRESS ENTER" Has anyone else encountered this problem with Ubuntu? But it means the system can't see a disk to boot from; most likely the HDD is toast or the boot sector is corrupt or you've reconfigured the BIOS so it's not booting from the hard drive.
