So this is a bit of an odd situation. My GF created a guest account on her PC but has forgotten her original account name. She knows the password, but as the login is not the Welcome screen shee needs to enter the account name and password. Since she hasn't inputted the account name for years she ha no idea what it is...

Any ideas on how to easily get the account name? I know a few ways to get passwords and the account names using boot CD's, but she cannot install any software (to burn ISO's or bootable CD's) so thats not very helpful at the moment.

Look in the Documents and Settings folder... the names listed in there are all the account names that have ever been used on that computer. Each account will have it's own folder.
