I recently reformatted my system. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to not backup drivers and I think this is where my problem stems. When I was back to running windows, I could not connect to my network. It was obvious that I hadn't installed any drivers. I then downloaded an NForce Driver on to my laptop and installed that on here and now I have internet. The only problem is that it is pretty slow. On my network connections screen, there are two liste. My Local Area Connection which is being used by my NForce drivers and allows it to work but at only 100 Mbps. I go to my other connection that is listed there and it says its connected by using the 1394 Network Adapter, but nothing is happening. It's speed is listed at 400 Mbps. This is the network I was using before I reformatted and was much faster than the connection I have now. Should I be trying to find the drives for the 1394 Net Adapter? Cause if so, I've had no luck. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

Check your Laptop product page for system drivers. I would start there. Google your Laptop and look for the manufacturer product page/downloads.
