Overclocking a 8800GTS 320 or messing around with settings?

Hello

This is rather a quick question.
Is there any guide here or somewhere else, to "fine tune" your 8800GTS?

Im asking because with the new born "2900XT vs 8800" topics I think I saw in a reply or in a link posted in a reply, someone saying their 8800GTS has 60% heatsink (or GPU fan?) by default and that you wanna raise it to 100% so that it doesnt get hot.

So now Im a little bit frightened by the fact it wont be as easy as plugging in the card and off I go, but that I also will have to take a lot of other things in consideration in order for the card not to explode or overheat w/e

I unfortunately dont see any stickies or maybe Im just plain blind.

Ntune from Nvidia can pretty much do it automatically if you don't want to.
