Mouse Quit Working

Been running Vista Ultimate for about a year. Today the mouse quits working and I've tried 3 different ones. All are USB mice. I've tried different USB ports with no joy, but all other items work in them (printer, hub, scanner, camera, etc.). Anyone had the same problem? I have the cursor but it's "frozen".
