OK so I think I caught the Conficker virus or at least something with similar effects (AntiVirus software won't update, all antivirus sites blocked) I've been running every scan people suggest followed every step in the Conficker thread and still nothing. Everything shows that my system is clean. I've been wrestling with this for over a week and finally decided to bite the bullet and reformat. I don't even know how it's possible, but even after the reformat, I get the same thing. All I did was reinstall windows, then installed comodo, then firefox and boom the virus is still there. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
