which is better for games if you have very good hardware to back it???

Depends on the games you play. Very few games have a 64bit exe currently but a few like crysis and source games do. Source games run great in x64. If you play older games with 16bit installers you will have huge problems with x64 editions of windows however you can emulate dos or create a virtual machine with VMware to run these programs.

Unless the game itself is 64-bit, there will be little or no difference between 32-bit and 64-bit. The main reason for a 64-bit OS is to make use of more RAM when you have 4GB+ installed.
