The best motherboard for E6600

Hi,

i need to choose a board for my E6600.
I have some ideas like:

ASUS P5B PREMIUM CHIPSET 965 SOCKET 775 VISTA EDITION
DFI LANPARTY UT ICFX3200-T2R/G
DFI Infinity 975X/G
Asus P5K
Asus p5b deluxe


For the E6600, which one should i choose?

It depends what you want to do with it. If you want to crank it to its maximum potential, then look into Nvidia 680i chipsets. If you are new to overclocking or don't have remarkably deep pockets, the Asus Commando or a P965 based motherboard (like the P5B Deluxe) will serve you well. Out of the four choices, I'd go with the P5B Deluxe.

well, the desktop is for everything.

i will use fortran, matlab and arc gis software.

i will also play some game like motogp, championship manager...nothing to "heavy".

the computer will the turn on for many days because of internet and p2p software.
