I need some recommendations for a pair of 20" LCD monitors that I need for work.

I have a brand new spiffy box with:

E6700 CPU
4gigs RAM
Nvidia Quadro FX 3500 vid card

I had some Dell 2007 20" monitors, but I could not seem to get them to behave correctly. They were never sharp, I had green tint and they were hurting my eyes.

I now have permission to buy a pair of 20" LCD monitors and I want the best I can get (I have up to $2500 to use).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice make and model? SOmething that is great to use, very good on performance, and easy on the eyes (want it to be crisp, clear and sharP.

Will be running, most likely in 1600x1200 or 1248x1024

I appreciate it

Firstly if you weren't running your previous monitors at there optimum resolution that was why they didn't look crisp. If that is not the case then it could just be something else.

For the budget you have i'd recommend the Dell UltraSharp 2407

Its the best monitor in its size and would be way better than any other 20 or 22" monitor. Simply put its the best of the best right now.

Would my video card by sufficient to run those monitors?

Nvidia Quadro FX3500 (think it has 512mb RAM on it).
