I've got Silicon image sata raid and I'm trying to install windows but it's not working.
When the setup process reboots windows doesn't find my drive.

So I'm guessing it needs the drivers during the setup. It prompts me to hit F6 to install these drivers right in the beginning.

However, I have no floppy drive!! Who the frack has that in 2008!?

Is there any way to get around this or do I actually have to go out tomorrow to buy a floppy drive...?

You could make a Windows Installation CD with the SATA driver slipstreamed along with any updates or other drivers you want to include. nLite is a free program that can do that. Unless you don't have access to another computer with a burner... In that case, the best option would be a to buy a multi card reader that also includes a floppy drive so you have something useful instead of just a floppy drive.
