I have a HP Ipaq which won't turn on. If I press the reset button it
starts the process (HP logo with progress bar), but when the progress
bar gets about halfway the screen goes to complete white and hangs.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated. Thanks, rw

Note: The battery is charged.

I had this problem and had to do a hard reset to cure it.
I think one of the programs must have got corrupted and prevented it
from working.

My 4150 ended up doing this - in the end I had to pull the battery for
an hour or so to 'wipe' the memory, and then it would start up again.

Thanks. I tried the hard reset and am able to start it again.

Now my issue is, after the first sync my Calendar app on the ipaq seems
to crash. All I get is the title bar with the windows logo on the left
and the text 'calendar' next to it. I can't see any of the calendar
window beyond that. Then eventually everything on the device locks up
again.
