Hello friends....
I am a regular Windows 7 user.
I recently installed ubuntu 11.04 side by side with windows 7.
I booted up ubuntu and it's working fine.
I tried to boot windows 7. It blinks for a second and the booting screen again comes back.
Any help! would be greatful!!!

Hi please read this https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DualBoot/Windows

Also try 'sudo update grub'. thus is ubuntu's automagic grub bootloader configuration script.

if this does not work, post output of file '/boot/grub/grub.cfg' and 'sudo fdisk -l'

Yeah, it's issues like these (and the strides the various VM tools have made) that has shifted my position when getting someone setup to try out linux that, unless there's a real, concrete reason the actual HW is needed, to just suggest the VM route (I personally prefer VirtualBox)
