Without a disc, you're screwed. Since you installed Pro over it, I assume that you didn't "upgrade" and that you formatted the drive? There's no option to uninstall Windows... never has been... unless you used an upgrade disc.

If the computer is a brand name computer, then it should have come with recovery CDs. It should also have a product key sticker on the case somewhere. The only option you may have is to take it to a shop and maybe they'll burn a Windows CD for you as long as you can show them that legal license for XP Home. (The product key sticker). You could also try to see if anyone you know has a Home OEM CD they'd be willing to copy for you. As long as you have a valid key sticker... this is perfectly legal.

You need to format the drive and start over. Boot from the CD and hit a key on the keyboard when you see the message "Press any key to boot from CD...". On the first screen, just hit enter, and that will take you to the next screen where you have to push F8. Once that's done, it will scan the computer for previous copies of Windows and if it finds one, it may present you with the option of repairing it. DO NOT repair. (Don't think you'll get this option since it's Home over Pro... but just in case). It should then present you with a screen with choices of where you can install Windows. There will be an option to delete the partition... delete it, then install Windows on the empty drive.

Of course, if you have any data you want to keep... back it up first.

DO NOT upgrade. You MUST boot from the CD and FORMAT the hard drive. Trying to upgrade your current installation will NOT work. If you properly deleted the partition on the hard drive and started over, you would NOT be getting that message... it looks like you're still booting into Windows and trying to run setup.

You have to get into your CMOS setup. This is usually accomplished by pressing Delete at the first screen that appears before anything else. Depending on your computer (brand name ones especially), you may have to press F1 or F2 or F10. Some required a combination of keys.

Once in the setup, look for something called Boot or Boot Order. Make sure the CD-ROM is set to boot before the hard drive. Save and Exit. Once you have that accomplished, everything else will almost be self-explanatory.
