Hey people! I have a question about a network wiring wall mount rack i've recently installed. I'm trying to configure and wire it but everything I try doesnt make any sense. I dont have a picture but i'll draw it describe it the best I can below.

8U Wall Mount Rack - http://www.l-com.com/item.aspx?id=4965
Cable Management Insert - http://www.l-com.com/item.aspx?id=7168

1U - 24 Port Patch Panel
1U - Cable Management Insert
1U - 24 Port Patch Panel
1U - Cable Management Insert
1U - 48 Port Switch
1U - Open
1U - Open
1U - Shelf

I have 3' Patch Cables and I can't seem to get them all in and routed properly. 3' seemed to be the most popular so I went with those but am having a hard time cramming them all in.

1. Should I get 1' Patch Cables?
2. Should/Can I reconfigure My Rack so I can use my 3' cables?

Thanks for any help!

How about putting the switch between the 24 port patch panels:

1U - 24 Port Patch Panel
1U - Cable Management Insert
1U - 48 Port Switch
1U - Cable Management Insert
1U - 24 Port Patch Panel
1U - Open
1U - Open
1U - Shelf

Or use 1 foot cables and do away with the cable management. You can run the cables straight down or up from the switch port to the patch panel.
