Guys, I recently Bought a x1950 XT, e6420, 965p-ds3 mobo rev 3.3 f11 BIOS. I only get like 100-150 FPS in scrims, and sometimes it drops to even 70 in 16 man DM's. I am not at all using high graphics settings, 1024x768, medium settings, CEVO FPS CONFIG. What could it be? I do have the latest drivers and s o on

ok your rig is nice and should get higher than what you are getting. btw what is CEVO FPS CONFIG?? if only css giving you trouble then dont use the cevo fps config and go by default settings, settings with you pick by yourself

your rig is already good enough for game like CSs you dont need other's config. set everything high in CSs and you will be fine, first uninstall CEVO'S FPS CONFIG and you should be fine, let us know what happen then.

try to search the information in valvle's forum

believe it or not, valvle's horrible programming in counter strike is well know to eat fps in ridicoulous way in new hardware
I've seen old videocards like the 9800 pro doing WAY BETTER than the top of the line 7800GTX or 1950XTX (as reported in the forums).
id say horrible programing and driver incompatibilities.
anyway cs source is mostly cpu...
