Is Vista 64bit have worse gaming Performance than Vista 32bit? I try to play Call of Duty 4 on my PC with 1680x1050 with Max graphic settings. But is still not running smootlhy. I am wondering if the 64bit vista make this happen.
Below is my Computer Spec:

CPU : Athlon 64 x2 6000+
RAM : A-Data PC-6400 2x1GB
Graphic Card: ATI 4870

runs perfectly for me on v64 on Nvidia 8800 gts

I seriously doubt there is any 64 bit issue exactly, but perhaps there is something with the 64 drivers for your card? Not sure.

with only 2gb of ram on that machine, you might run into stuttering at the resolution you're gaming at. Vista64 takes up 1GB of ram idle, so in essence, you only have 1gb of ram for the game to use. try adding another 2gb.
